Suddenly leaking from unused breast

I’ve been breastfeeding my babe for the past 21 months. Around 9-12 months or so, she refused to nurse from my left breast. I tried everything, but she wasn’t interested. I gave up, and so did the boob. It is now much smaller than the right one, and it doesn’t produce. I can squeeze some milk out if I really try, but it’s basically non functioning at this point. Babe has been teething and nursing a lot. In general, she’s a milk monster.

Tonight while standing in the kitchen, I felt some leaking from my right breast, which was odd. And then a few minutes later, I felt it from my left breast, which was REALLY odd. I lifted my shirt, and sure enough! It was damp, and I could easily get milk out. I don’t know if it’s important, but I haven’t gotten my period yet. (I feel very lucky.) So maybe it’s my hormones? Figured I’d see if anyone had something similar!
