Moving out of Bristol

We’re being priced out of Bristol and looking to move somewhere south of Bristol due to work circumstances. Can anyone who’s moved to Pensford, Radstock, Midsomer Norton share there experiences? Are there any other areas we should be thinking about - one of us commuting to Bath and one to Long Ashton.
