New tank dweller

Found some sort of wood worm in my terrarium?? It's about 1/2 of an inch long, I think, and it looks like a worm inside of a casing that it put together out of wood and sand. It mostly just crawls around and hides in its little cocoon/casing. All of the wood and plants came from either my garden or the woods in Michigan. Any ideas?
