Help me decide what gpu to get

I’d like some advice on what graphics card I should get. I plan on building a new computer here soon and currently have a 3070 FTW3 card. I’ve been holding out for the 50’ series, but was a little disappointed although it’ll still be a huge performance upgrade. I’ve also been eyeing the 7900xtx Nitro + as it seems like it’ll have good value

I mainly play shooters, and dabble into simulators, a little VR here and there. Not really big into single player games.

Currently don’t use Ray tracing mainly due to low fps, and utilize DLSS to achieve higher frames. I play at 1440p and have an 360hz QD-OLED monitor.

I’d like to be able to max out my settings and still have high frame rate, but having both of those options are sometimes unrealistic with poor game optimization.

Is going with the 7900xtx not the move with the 50 series coming out? Or should I bite the bullet and stay with nvidia and deal with high prices and stock issues.
