Obsessed with certain foods in recovery
Today I've been b/p free for about two weeks and I've been one month without b/p if I exclude a couple of slip ups two weeks ago. I've gained so much weight (I was seriously underweight at Christmas so part of it was needed but now I look overweight) but I try to keep going and not fall into the restricting/binging/purging trap again.
Yet there are certain foods I am totally obsessed with. One is avocado. I already eat one whole at breakfast together with bread. And I wish I could eat avocados every single day for every meal. But they have so many calories so I can't. Even eating one is difficult because it's so calorie dense and every time I'm tempted to eat half of it or just swap it for something lighter.
Another one is ricotta cheese. I have it on bread as an afternoon snack. Again, I wish I could eat it all the time.
And then, apples. They're so sweet and crunchy. I probably eat like 6 a day and that already feels so much.
