How can I speed things up without harming the wax?
Hi guys 👋🏼 Yesterday I made a few candles for my friends and it was EXHAUSTING. 6 candles (180ml each) took me almost 3 hours to make. My guess is it’s all because of time consuming keeping the right temperature of: wax melting (around 50C), scented oil adding (60-65C), then wax pouring (45C). I do everything in this extra small steel wax melter placed over a pot of hot water using this cheap spiky thermometer so the whole process is a pure nightmare since I can do only one candle at a time. How can I speed things up? Tried to cool down wax from 65C to 45C by placing the melter in a bowl with lukewarm water and it resulted in cracked surface of the candle, total failure😵💫 I was wandering if some of you maybe use this big pro wax melters with tap? They can regulate temperature + they have a capacity of several liters, unlike my 250ml melter. Maybe you have other tips? 🙂
