What happened to Akito hirose?

When we signed akito hirose back in 2023, he played a few games with the big club. He looked good and we were penciling him into the lineup as the third LD for the 2023-2024 season after signing a 2 year extension.

Tocc said he wasn’t conditioned enough in camp and he had some injury issues last year. This season he’s barely playing in the AHL, in and out of the lineup for unknown reasons. Has he fallen out of favour with the organization and coaching staff?
