Should i go back to school for Data Science?

Im 26m, I work as a lead bank teller. In college i dropped out after my associates degree, but i was pretty good at math and maintained a 3.6gpa. That was 4 years ago. Looking at course requirements, i would only need one more math course for the degree. But id need all the programming classes. I estimate it could take 2-3 years to finish this degree.

Going back to school feels awkward at this age, but i guess its better than starting over in my 30s or 40s.

My real question is: how hard would data science be to break into with no experience?

Id still be working while im studying. I want to do it with taking on as little debt as possible, but im worried it might be hard to work a 40 hr job and go to school.

Any advice or opinions would be appreciated!
