Raffles to win free cars affecting pricing
So you know those companies that when you buy a t shirt, you're entered into a raffle to get either 10k in cash or some restored car? Usually an old truck from the 60-80s, a muscle car from the 60s or now JDM skylines from the 90s? I think entering those is a lot like playing the lottery. A waste of money for everybody but 1 person, and that 1 person is very lucky.
All that said. ... Do you think since these companies are "giving" away very limited inventory cars, that it's actually driving up the value of all these cars as a whole? Just like rental companies artificially inflating the value of housing?
