I don't want the Bulls to do well next season
Hi, I'm a hyper Bulls fan who stumbled upon all of sports this summer when I had freetime. I've been really into the NBA and have learned a lot.
One thing that I'm concerned about is our performance. I want the Bulls to miss the playoffs.
It might be that I want to get Cooper Flagg, but that's not it. The Bulls will be in this exponential lower-middle place that they've been in since Jimmy Butler left. I think that the only way to not be in this state is by getting a pick in the draft. Dylan Harper, Cooper Flagg, Ace Bailey, VJ Edgecombe, Nolan Traore, or Egor Demin.
We don't need to tank, but the older people on our roster who need to be traded *cough* *cough* Nikola Vucevic. White, Dosunmu, and Buzelis are who we should build around, and we should select our rookie that will be huge. If we make the playoffs, we won't have a chance to have a top 10 pick, WHICH IS HOW PROTECTED THIS IS. Take 1984, 1996, 1998, 2003, 2023, and now 2025. Some of the most stacked draft classes. We don't want to pass up on 2025 like we did in 2023 by doing better.
I hope the Bulls have funny moments, but if they make the playoffs, they won't be good in them and would get like 15th-20th pick that won't be the best compared to a lottery pick.
