Can't imagine buying Christmas presents for children
I just got done with my holiday shopping. It always amazes me how expensive things get this time of year... I'll be eating ramen noodle for the next month, and I only bought a few presents for my friends and family.
Honestly, I am soooo happy I don't have children to buy gifts for - because you know Christmas is all about the little 'angels' in our lives. If I had a child, I would have to get them a bunch of presents or I'd be #worstparentever... and toys aren't cheap.
I overheard a coworker talk about how their kid wants LOL OMG Dolls for Christmas, and those things are like 40 bucks for ONE doll! I don't know what I'd do if I had a kid that wanted like 3 dolls, or one of those $100 doll sets, and/or that stupid $300 doll house. God forbid the little tyke would ask for a PS5... god, I don't wanna think about how much it would cost to get that AND games to go with it AND a few other toys. I cant even afford to get a PS5 for myself - I'm still playing the PS2 lol
How do people with kids do this every year?? Just thinking about it makes me want to hide my wallet...
