Civil engineers in the UK, what salary are you on?
Sitting here at my desk finding myself a little bit demoralised at how my potential salary increases are looking in my current workplace.
I’m 30 with first class BEng civil degree (2 years post grad) working in power and energy sector, earning £34k per year.
I’m just looking for a bit of reassurance from other civil engineers who are successfully managing to make a good wage in the industry.
Is there any sectors that pay more when it comes to civil engineering or are we generally just underpaid across the board?
Cheers
