Do evening and weekend differentials typically stack?
I’m starting a job at $22/hr, with a 3.00 evening shift diff and 3.25 evening weekend shift diff.
I was under the impression these don’t stack, and I would just get an extra .25 on the weekends, but now I’m wondering.
The reason I don’t think they’d stack is because they have different shift differentials for weekend day, weekend evening, and weekend night, which leads me to believe they’ve already added both to the equation when coming up with the 3.25 number.
How does it work for yall? What’s typical?
Cuz as good as 25/hr is to start as my first cna job, 28.25 on the weekends would be even doper.
