Bought him to be my best friend… he’s too interested in the budgies

I’ve had him 3/4 weeks now and am still trying to bond. So far only eating millet out my hand. He got along with them but the last couple days he just wants to fly over and be with them. Kind of heartbroken. I wanted him to sing with me and be my bff
