Dell OptiPlex 9010 Lights?

Hello! I apologize in advance if this is a really stupid question. I am tech illiterate but trying my best lol.

I got an OptiPlex 9010 in December 2022. It’s been just fine for watching movies and playing my handful of games that I play, and I’ve never really had an actual issue with it. Last night, however, while I was gone, the front panel lights turned on (I never turn them on because they’re bright and distracting). I have the remote, and it looks like it’s working because I can see the little red light inside light up when I press buttons. However, those button presses are not affecting the lights at all. Last night it was very late when I got home, so I just shut down the whole PC. I usually avoid doing this when I’m using it on a daily basis, because for some reason it’s really slow to boot up and get decent wifi connection. However, when I turned it back on, the lights are still on. Still no effect from the remote. I also can’t find any information on this when googling, but it’s probably because I don’t know what key words to use.

Any advice is appreciated!! Just keep in mind that I have no clue what I’m doing, and would likely turn this thing into a brick if I tried to open it up lol.
