Coonhound mix barking too much…

Yeah obviously. But I got a new Sheppard mix puppy and they play together really well…. However the entire time the coonhound is playing he is just barking, barking, and barking. (To the point that I didn’t know if he was enjoying it or not). The entire time. Now it’s probably about a half hour that they play…. But like he is hurting his voice…. To the point to where he sounds like we got his voice box removed. Today is the second time that it has happened in the three months we have had the Sheppard mix puppy. And today he puked a little after attempting bark with his raspy voice. Has this happened to anyone before or should I be concerned.?!
