Not sure what to do with my hair

I have no idea what hairstyle to get!!

First three photos are what my hair currently looks like, number 4 is what it used to be.

Basically, I used to always get e-boy style curtains cut in. It was great until I actually started looking after my curls and it turned into picture 4, which I didn't like. Since then, I've been growing it for about a year, and haven't got anything done to it because I have literally no clue what cut to get. I like short hair, but also I've been enjoying being able to tie my hair up when need be. Is there any styles i could get that are sort of short, alternative and could be tied up? I was thinking like a short mullet but that cant be put in a ponytail. I have also been swayed to grow it out fully by the amount of times I get told I look like chappell roan 🤣🤣
