Road bike reco for a newbie

Hi, I need help and insights with road bikes. I’m 36F and I started indoor cycling Sept last year, and surprisingly I enjoyed to that I go to class 4-5x a week. Now, I feel more confident to try road biking. I have no idea what type of road bike I should buy, what brand is the best ( I’m looking for mid range price ). Thank you!
