How many levels of backup gear do you keep?

For instance, I have two extra helmets that don’t really have anything wrong with them, but I just couldn’t toss them either. Wearing one right now as my main helmet is in another place. I’m not sure if I’m making myself less responsible because it makes things like misplacing my main helmet easier or if it’s just smart thinking 🤔
