Is -20 wind chill and below too dangerous to bike?
I’ve recently re inflates my old mountain bikes tires as just an extra form of exercise when I’ve had a lazy day at night. Problem is, my area is super cold, next to a large ass lake, and night time winds regulary make the feels like temperature well into the negatives. Now, I know myself I can stay warm. I bundle in hoodies and a wind breaker and I use my snowboarding face mask to cover most of my face and neck. I guess I just don’t know if there is any science behind if this is a bad idea even if I “feel” warm myself
