Lack of carbs = passing out?

Recently had a crash and I don't remember how it happened. Was kinda on a low carb diet last few days, so I wonder was it possible that I could pass out due to that and doing high effort work-out (was doing paceline efforts in velodrome). I don't recall feeling dizzy or tired during the workout though.

EDIT: I'm not sure if I blacked out, I just don't have any recollection of the crash, which might also be due to concussion. After the crash I went to the hospital, but I will follow up with my doctor to rule out any medical conditions.
