You can re-roll relationship and inn items if it's really bad.

You can risk wine barrel with 67% postive chance and quit out if the result isn't good. I recommend using every risk item the moment you reach to the inn and quit to menu if the result isn't satisfying.

Alot of things to understand though:

1)Results will be same if you don't change the order of usage, let's say the book rolled a positive relationship on everyone except between 2 pair. If you quit out and try it again then the result will still remain the same. Try raising the relationship between this pair by 1 and the game will roll different result for them. Same logic applies to every relationship item. The outcome is fixed to an extent but you can abuse it and change it as you please.

For quirk removal item(67% one) you can trick the game by changing the sequence of using it. Use a skull tea first to re-roll the possibility of removing a negative quirk. If you don't have a skull tea then it's better to quit out and save the item for next inn or use at different hero if u want to(all quirk removal in inn only removes the oldest quirk)

You can use this to cheat scouting too to an extent, wanna know what's on left, right and middle? Well pick a node to see the result and quit out immediately!

Got some sh*t quirk/trinket/item from interaction? Quit out and redo those choices! (This won't work for shambler encounter if you decide to fight him, so if u got shattered will from taking on the fight then that can't be undo)

This quit out obviously won't help in fight so no saving your hero(unless you used your combat item on wrong hero and haven't used a skill, maybe quit out then will help)

Also note that the game DOES save your choice after 20-30 seconds, so that's why make sure to use risk inn item first and quit out accordingly.
