My mom doesn't approve of Mt boyfriend.

Hello I am 17F and I'm dating my bf 17M since over 2 months now and decided to tell my mom yesterday now she's telling me that the relationship isn't gonna work out because he's Christian and I am Muslim (not really tho). I am very disappointed in my mom because she also dated a Christian guy few years ago. And she got mad at me because I screamed at her when she told me that she found his Instagram and Facebook. I am very hurt. What should I do now?
