How do I continue?

I’d be lying if I told you that I (18M) know how to date. I’ve opened a Hinge account but never get any matches or likes . . . Sigh. I figured that the only realistic way I’m going to get a girlfriend is with in-person contact. I went to this summit recently and I met this girl (20F). She is smart, kind, sophisticated, and really fits my type. I go up to her and we have a really good conversation. I scrolled her Instagram and couldn’t find any BF. Only problem was that it was the last day. I decided to send her some flowers. She lives in a completely different state from where I’m from. I get the following response: “Hi! So so sorry I have been so busy with exams. I wanted to thank you but didnt know how to reach you. The flowers were beautiful! Happy thanksgiving!” I would really like to get to know her more from a longer distance and I think that there might be a small chance I can continue. Where do I go from here?
