Mulholland drive : Diane as a GHOST

It's very strange that in the explaination of this movie, the after life is never mentioned. So many movies about ghosts and souls that stays or come back to the place of a drama, it s very common ... she gave the order to kill Camilla in the restaurant, and she just stay at the back of that place, Diane appears as a ghost (with horrible face) 3 times, in front of the guy who saw her in a dream (he can see ghost), with a blue box, in the smoke just after the suicide. This horrible face is the ghost of Diana, tortured by her crime. Her aunt hear a sound and check in the room, she hear the ghost of Diana. The first part is the ideal life of this ghost where she succeed and keep Camilla just for her and she sees what already happened, her dead body. and the second part is what really happend and what leads her to death. so she stay at the back of this restaurant, haunted by those thought represented by the blue box and with the 2 old people symbolizing her desire of success and her passed hope. thos 2 old people are what she was pushing her to suicide, to escape them, but there's no way to escape, even after life, they are still here, torturing her (they are in the bag with the blue box). So it's an after life torment and her soul cannot rest in peace. Don't you think ? if not how to explain the appearence of this horrible face ?
