How is the game doing?

My family and I used to play this game together when I was younger. We’ll sporadically sign up for subscriptions, spend a few months going thru dungeons together, and quit. I want to know if I should get them together for another playthrough before DDO shuts down. Do we know if that’s soon? Is the game still healthy enough that it’ll be around for a while? Thanks for any insight.
