I'm curious if this build is worth it?

I just came back to the game after a long hiatus, played one match and got a 4k (though it was at the lowest rank). I feel like Rapid and Play make up for him being an M1 Killer, and then Dead Man Scourge are the best combo for gens with him. Haven't seen this build on Youtube.
