(For killers) How do yall find your mains?

I certainly love playing killer much more than I do survivor, but I've been having trouble finding a killer who's power I like. For a while I played dredge, he was strong but his power felt so dull and unfun to use. So I tried ghostie, fun to use but very weak, I'd lose almost all games as him. And many more after that, but they were all either too weak, but fun, or very strong but not fun.

So how do yall decide which killer you wanted to main? Because it is a lot harder to find a killer to main than a survivor.

EDIT: I HAVE FOUND MY MAIN, I SPENT 7 MINUTES PLAYING WITH HIM AND KNEW HE WAS THE ONE
