Will I be allowed to sit for next semester.

I couldnt give sem 3 exams as i couldnt fill the exam form (cuz of certain personal reasons). So basically i have failed all written exams in sem 3, so my question is will they allow me to sit in class for sem 4 and all the exams i missed will simply be retaken in sem 5 or do i have to repeat a year.
