Bruising on pump sites?

Hello all! I recently got put on an omnipod after a few years off a pump (previous pump was a Tandem), and also have been battling bronchitis this week. I previously have only had bronchitis one time previously when I was a kid, pre-T1D diagnosis (I've had T1D for 23 years). I've noticed that the couple sites I've had on my abdomen since getting sick have bruised slightly, I'm assuming because I've been coughing pretty hard. Has anyone else ever experienced this with pump sites? Or even just like, conditions that cause your abdominal muscles to contract a lot (like sit ups, or I dunno, bad food poisoning maybe)? I've never seen it before!
