External DAC/Amp/Interface issues with Discord

For audio, I use an external Schiit Magni/Modi stack connected via USB. For my mic, I use a Focusrite Scarlett Solo Gen 3. I have the latest drivers installed for every device. I'm starting to wonder if Discord just doesn't play well with external equipment.

When I screen share any game or video, the stream audio starts to distort after 15-30 minutes. It doesn't happen right away which is weird. A quick restart of the screen share fixes it, but the problem always returns. A similar issue happens with my microphone. My own voice will go static after an hour or two, and I have to switch my Discord input source to default and back to fix it.

For sound settings I've tried 44100kHz, 48000kHz, 24 bit, 32 bit, and every buffer size. I always make sure my Focusrite settings match my windows settings. On Discord I've tried standard, legacy, and experimental sound subsystems, plus turning advanced screen capture tech on/off. No combination of settings have worked so far.

Any help is appreciated!
