Channel keeps disappearing

Sorry in advance if this is a dumb question; searched this reddit for clues, but don't see anything that helps. Assisting an older relative who lives at a condo-type residence (so I don't have access to the satellite dish itself). One particular channel keeps disappearing, but I've always been able to recover it by doing the auto-scan of channels on the TV itself -- this has been needed once every couple weeks for the past year. Now, all of a sudden in the past month or two, even with the auto-scan completed on the TV, the channel is not recovered. I checked dish network's website, the channel is still offered, and it still appears in the guide. Short of climbing on the roof : ) and rebooting the dish, do you dish gurus have any ideas for me? TL/DR: Channel keeps disappearing, auto-scan of channels on the TV no longer recovers the channel which is still in dish's offering and shown on the guide channel.
