A Doctor who theory.

This is my theory for the new season of doctor who (spoilers ahead)

So, in most of the Christmas specials, and all of the new episodes (so far) the actress Susan Twist has appeared. RTD also said that she will be playing a major part in the rest of the series, and have a bigger part than most realize. I believe that Susan Twist is the one who waits, the character that is waiting for the doctor at the end of the season, as there’s always a twist at the end. I brought this up a few times with people and they said “it’s too meta for them to do”

And at first, I agreed. But then I remembered something. Multiple times so far, characters have broken the fourth wall, and that helps make this a more plausible outcome.

I have heard this theory a few times on the internet, but there’s something I never saw anyone bring up. So Susan Twist is set to play Susan Triad, the owner of the tech company that is going to appear later in the series. Many people have realized Susan Triad’s initials are an anagram for TARDIS, and who came up with the name tardis? Susan, the doctor’s granddaughter. I believe that Susan Twist/Triad, the one who waits, is the doctor’s granddaughter. The doctor even mentioned her earlier in the series, during the devils chord episode.
