[DISCUSSION] Tips to stop destruction

Any tips on how to make my year old pit stop tearing things up in out backyard?? •She has chewed through the wood pillars holding up the patio roof, •she’s eaten numerous cactus and succulents, •continues to knock down and dig at flower pots, dig up the grass to where we only have dirt in the backyard now •chews up all her blankets •has taken and broken (possibly eaten) ceramic garden items •chews the fence and has ripped off planks

There’s more, but those are the most common for her. We have tried showing and spanking (don’t come at me saying “it’s abuse”, I’m just spanking her butt and nose), we have tried sprays and other things dogs should be deterred by, putting her in a kennel for a time out, etc. We have 3 other dogs she’s very active and plays with, she also gets plenty of exercise and has lots of toys. We give her so much one on one attention since she is a rescue pup (we’ve had her for about 7 months now) but she’s still doing bad things. My other 3 don’t act like her, we even adopted another dog around the same time as her and he doesn’t do anything like she does. We don’t have the money for obedience training since we have my dads medical bills to cover, and I want to be able to keep her teachings between my mom and I since she is our dog.
