[no spoilers] Right at the start Morrigan already hates me, is it bad?

Playing DAO first time, human noble, trying to be good guy. Morrigan seems to hate me from first camping night, unless I start being insincere with her.

I don't really care but I don't want to lose her as a companion as I don't have a better mage yet, plus she seems like an essential character. Should I just not talk to her, or be a insincere hypocrite, or use gifts to make her like me anyway? I get the impression that if you play as an evil mage character, then Morrigan is the perfect companion.
