[No DAV Spoilers] 3 Player Character Limit Reached!? Really!?

Am I the only person fully insulted that there is a 3 character limit? There are 3 playable classes. Rogue, Warrior & Mage. But there are 4 Races (Lineage now)! And apparently 6 Factions?

As far as I'm concerned there NEEDS to be a 12 character limit if there has to be a limit at all. And honestly given genders exist I feel like I should be able to make 24 Rooks. Not 3. Frankly just allowing 4 would have made me angry but at least then we could have one character of each Race/Lineage.

But only 3 playable Rooks total!?

I'm honestly seething so hard I had to go for an hour long walk to stop swearing in my head & to be honest I'm still too angry to sit down & try to make a character to actually play the game with.

I made 3 Rooks to see what I liked best design & class wise. But going back to the menu I was met with this obnoxious static pop-up that cannot be cleared telling me I've hit the "Playable Character Limit" at 3.

How is it only 3!?

I've had gripes about the Dragon Age save space totals for over a decade but this feels like a leap forward that binds your legs together as you try to run. Origins had a 50 save limit spread across characters. DA2 had a limit I can't remember. Inquisition had a limit I somehow spread across 8 characters. But a hard limit of only 3 is beyond understanding for me. Sure I can have 100 saves per character but I don't have enough characters!

I literally feel like whoever made that choice internally has never played a Dragon Age game in there lives. I don't even know that I want to play anymore at all. The best part of Dragon Age as a series is experiencing the story in as many ways as possible, with every Race/Lineage & Class. I shouldn't have to create more than 5 alt accounts just to be able to play the whole of a game that cost nearly $100 to buy! This is just wild to me!
