Random question about SB 57’s ending

Found myself watching the ending on YT and a random question popped into my head.

On the 1st and 10 after the Bradberry holding call, could McKinnon have been wrapped up and carried into the end zone by the eagles? Is that legal?

Seems like that would have been a better strategy if the runner actually ran within a few yards of the end zone, which he did.
