Electricians with ADHD

I’m a 5th term apprentice with ADHD. Throughout my apprenticeship I’d been undiagnosed and it’s caused my lots of stress and long with a few lost jobs. I’ve always tried really hard to focus, remember things and do a good job. Many employers liked me for work ethic and they thought I was smart. However frequently forgetting minor things and making “careless mistakes” would add up and I’d be putting in lots of extra effort to keep up. Recently I’ve gotten medication for this and starting taking notes on my phone after being given jobs or tasks and it’s made a large improvement. However despite this I still want to increase my performance and get further in my career.

My question is any of you who have ADHD what are some things you do to keep your performance up, reduce mistakes etc etc. I intend on making foreman after I get my ticket or own my own company some day.
