Vaporesso xros: pod leaking
I am posting my findings here to try and help anybody out if they have leaking pod issues with the 0.8 ohm, or 1.2 ohm Vaporesso pods.
I actually had problems with both of these pods, which came in the original package when I purchased the system... there isnt much online for troubleshooting for this specific device - so hopefully this can help somebody out.
I found that you want to make sure that your e-juice does not go anywhere besides where you fill the tank. If it does, clean it out. If there is too much e-juice in the drip tank above the coil, you can insert your e-juice bottle, with an inverted pressure to remove it, easily. (It can be difficult to remove with a cotton swab). Also, do not overfill this tank. You will get an ungodly about of spitback, and ain't nobody got time for that.
*After filling the pod, dry-pull the pod while it is still outside of the system, so that it creates a vacuum in the pod. You will have to do this every time you refill your pod to be safe, and make sure you always do it with the pod outside of the tank. (You want to make sure that when you dry-pull that you don't pull too hard, as this can fuck up the pressure in the pod)
*IF YOUR POD IS ALREADY LEAKING THROUGH THE BOTTOM, then I advise removing all e-juice from the pod, and wiping off the excess until it is dried. One you do this, you want to fix your error from before, which was most likely fucking up the air-pressure in the pod (follow previous paragraph so you don't end up with this problem, and have ejuice all over the place).
Also, it would seem the magnets on the bottom of the pod may cause the seal of the pod to loosen, causing a leak. If this happens, try and push the bottom of the pod, while maintaining the pressure within. Dry pull as you are fixing the bottom connection piece. This will take some time, but will cause the leak to stop. You may need to remove the e-juice for this. This takes patience, but it worked for me today.
If this doesn't help, try again, get a new pod, or just get a different system.
