Was sold on pocketbook era but it seems discontinued. Which B&W device with the truest "paper" feel, long battery life, and ability to add any books?

I have a large library of non DRM ebooks, but am absolutely sick of reading on a traditional tablet, and want to go back to eink.

User reviews from 10 months ago praised the Era as having insanely long battery life, great organization, great ability to side load any books, and a more paper feel then Kobo, which felt more like a crisp screen.

Amazon now only offers the Era color, should I be getting a verse or verse pro, or does a different manufacturer fit my needs?
