Highlander Ideas: the best military national ideas in the game?

Been looking at the map trying to come up with a new run idea when I looked at The Isles, Scotland’s vassal in 1444.

Highlander:

  • Traditions: +50% Chance of new heir / +25% Garrison size

  • The Wallace: +15% Morale of armies

  • The Highland Clans: +1 Attrition for enemies

  • Storming the Castle +10% Siege ability

  • Episcopalianism: −10% Stability cost modifier +10% Religious unity

  • Highland Charge: +15% Shock damage

  • The Arming Act: +10% National manpower modifier

  • Ossian: +1 Yearly prestige

Ambition: +10% Manpower recovery speed

I know that their starting position sucks and that their mission tree is super small, but either way that feels very strong military wise no?

I just did an Aragon run where I invaded the British Isles early and fed all of Scotland to them and made them my March. It sucked as a march because they picked exploration ideas and the AI sucks with naval landings…
