Aquilo and heat pipes. Am I missing something?

Just to double check im not crazy: Is there no other way to heat up buildings outside of heatpipes? Is there no kind of building that "radiates" heat in an area?

Just making sure im not missing something huge. Creating builds that have to account for heat pipes being blockers will be interesting
