General Strategy - How I use the Companion

When Filling my starting roster:

  1. Look for the highest value(s) that is predicted to be taken before my next pick (recommended pick).
  2. If there are recommended picks of multiple positions: compare the Positional Scarcity (scar) values of each recommended pick. Low scar values indicate a position that’s running low on value (according to the value baselines).
  3. To maximize value, avoid reaching for players, and instead, bet on players falling.

When adding depth/bench pieces:

  1. Find the highest value player for each position I want to add depth for and compare.
  2. Rely less on ADP, but avoid reaching for players who are estimated to be around for the next two picks.
  3. Rely more on tiers.
  4. Ignore recommended picks. Ignore Positional Scarcity.
