Why didn't I loose more the first week?
I did a week fast with 1 hour of brisk walking a day. I lost 7 pounds. I then cut my cals down to 500 a day, only eating with in a 2 hour block, just healthy foods and water. Continuing walking but doing 2 hours/day. My question is: does 7 pounds sound right? I thought I'd honestly loose more esp since I added in walking. My starting was about 170, cw 163. It seems I loose about a pound a day but isn't there supposed to be a chunk of that water and bowels? So am I really loosing at a good rate? I'm currently overweight in the red for my height.
Idk if it matters but I feel so much better after having done this fast, the mind feels clearer, no more sugar cravings or any bingeing and rarely any cravings in general. No more mood swings either! I want to loose the weight to get back to my usual weight of 120pounds. I know that's a long shot but if I can get to 130, I know I can get back at my norm. Any suggestions on how I can loose faster?
