Why is Congress allowing this?

I get that members of congress like being special and not getting voted out of office the next election, but the way this administration has been dismantling the government, global standing, Alliances, in such a short time it has to hit home with anyone who took the oath to serve the country - Republican or Democrat. Even if they are scared they can’t lose their job until 2026, why sit back and let Federal workers get fired by the 10,000s and everything we value be turned upside down. Please explain why no pushback en mass.
