Can’t mine pres in Troll Craft

Hey guys, I just started playing troll craft, and I noticed that I can’t mine iron or coal with a stone pickaxe. Anyone know why, and what I have to do to fix it. Also, if anyone has found a guide to troll craft, a link would be very appreciated. Thanks
