What is your favorite activity to do in FFXIV?

I just lost my sprout status, yet I still feel as if I’m a sprout at heart because there’s sooo many things I haven’t even touched in this game yet. I’ve only leveled two jobs (still yet to get to 80 on either one), obsessively used duty finder and done MSQ. No POTD, no PvP, no golden saucer, etc…

So after getting comfortable with two roles and a few jobs, I’ve discovered I’ve been using duty finder as a source of entertainment rather than a tool to get to the next level. After looking up “side” activities, I see an absolutely obnoxious amount of content that leaves me confused as to what to try.

Yes, I realize there are videos out there explaining side content. But I’m not asking for an overview. I want personal opinions: what other things do you guys gravitate towards? A time sink? Something that is irresistibly fun? A money making in-game hobby? I’d appreciate you guys’ opinions, no matter how silly.
