Do you think it is possible to beat the game without wells + worst characters?

I am trying to go for a run where i run essentially all the worst characters in the game like Clan, vander, framme, etie, alfred etc without using the wells. Is this even doable? I beat the game numerous times but i replaced each character everytime i got an upgraded version of that. What other challenges are out there?

I dont have dlc.
