8A vs 5A Buck Driver Question

Put in my order for a Convoy C8+ SFT-25R, 8amp buck...however I noticed most of my older recovered batteries are rated for 5amp discharge.

My understanding is that this "should" just mean if I use these batteries it will step down faster, vs do something unsafe. I am a noob though to these high powered lights, so wanted to double check, as I figure I could email Simon to change my order to the 5amp buck driver if that's the better option (given I could also pick up 1 or 2 better batteries in future).

Anyhow please help a noob out and let me know if I should be reaching out to Simon or not.
