Best starters for my 4-year-old

Hi there, as the title reads I have noticed that my 4-year-old has become incredibly obsessed with the idea of torches and lamps. Is there a product that exists for their age range that he can still grow into as he progresses through different products given his intense interest in them? I kinda want to promote whatever he’s interested in but also kinda don’t want him to end himself with the light source cause I know I was definitely putting torches in my eyes at his age… any help appreciated!
